When the mercury drops neither should your outdoor exploration. Winter time is one of the more enjoyable times to go on a hike or spend a few nights in the wild. Fresh blankets of snow, quiet air, and great visibility for miles. What holds you back? Well… the cold. Come learn the basics of preparing for cold weather environments, whether you are day hiking or camping out, these tips are sure to warm you up.

• How to dress for the weather for both hiking and camping

How long is the class?
The class will be about 1 hour.
May I bring my own snacks and beverages?
Yes, you may! We will also have cups for water, tea, and coffee.
Is this class outside?
No, this class will be taught in our indoor classroom. If you are interested in a course with similar content out on the trail, call the store at (937) 938-5009 and ask to speak with our Program Staff, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I may be a few minutes late…is that okay?
The course will start promptly at 6:30 PM. However, if you are late, we just ask that you be courteous to the other participants as you enter.
