Returns, Refunds and Shipping Policies

RETURN POLICY
If you’re not satisfied with an item,* return it to us for an exchange, a store credit or a refund of its purchase price.
The following conditions apply:
• Item(s) must be returned within thirty (30) days of date on receipt.
• Item(s) must be clean, unused and otherwise in the same condition as purchased.
• Item(s) must include all original tags, packaging, and instructions.
• Item(s) must include a copy of the invoice or sales receipt.
• Clearance and sale item(s) can only be exchanged, or a store credit can be issued. (Clearance items are indicated with a price ending with .99)
• No returns on any special order item(s), kayaks, canoes, jewelry, food items, personal underwear and car racks/accessories once they have left our premises.
• A store credit may be issued for items purchased within ten (10) days prior to the item going on sale.
• No refunds on shipping charges, TO or FROM the store.
*No refund, exchange or store credit for any used or worn items.

REFUNDS
Credit Card Purchases
Online Purchases: You can expect a credit card refund within six (6) business days from the time we receive your returned items (per the conditions stated above). You will receive an e-mail confirmation of the refund. However, it may take one (1) to two (2) credit card statements for the credit to appear on your printed credit card account. A quick call to your credit card company will confirm that the credit has been applied.
Store Purchases: For purchases using a credit card, we can swipe the original credit card used and issue a refund with a receipt. However, it may take one (1) to two (2) credit card statements for the credit to appear on your printed credit card account.
Cash Purchases
Cash purchases over $20 may not be refunded immediately. We will issue a Great Miami Outfitters refund check and mail it to you within ten (10) business days.
Check Purchases
Purchases using a check will not be refunded immediately. We will issue a Great Miami Outfitters refund check and mail it to you within ten (10) business days.

BACK-ORDERS
Any item not in stock at the time your order is received will be back-ordered (unless the item is no longer available). This means that all available items will be shipped right away, while those currently unavailable will be sent to you once we receive them. You will receive an email giving you the choice of canceling the item or waiting until the back-ordered item is available. All back-ordered items will be sent to you free of shipping.

Shipping costs subject to change without notice.
Domestic U.S. Shipping:
We ship to anywhere in the United States. The US Postal Service is our preferred shipping service. In the continental U.S., Priority Mail usually arrives within 2-4 business days. Express Mail usually arrives the next business day. We reserve the right to ship the best method to meet your needs. We also are not responsible for delivery delays, including but not limited to weather-related delays.
International Shipping:
We’re sorry, but Great Miami Outfitters currently does not ship overseas. At this time, we only ship to U.S. states.
We Ship Quickly!
Online orders received before 1:00PM on a regular business day are usually shipped the following business day. However, we make every effort to ship on the same day, if possible, once payment has been authorized. Shipping and handling charges are based on shipments to the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii.
Shipping Damage
Please inspect the condition of your purchase at the time of delivery and report any damage immediately to carrier driver for claims processing.
Special Shipping Costs
Some items may have a special shipping cost. Shipping cost of these items will be listed in the item’s description.
Oversized or Heavy Items:

Shipping large or heavy items costs extra. Please refer to the specific product page for additional shipping charges which will be added to your order at the time of purchase.

Holiday Schedule:

The US Postal Service does not pick up or deliver on Christmas or on New Year’s Day, or any other national holiday. If you have any other questions about our holiday shipping schedule or any other of our shipping policies, please call 1-937-847-8787.

TAXES AND FEES
Sales tax will be added to the total order for OHIO residents at the current rate of 7.25%; Customers outside of Ohio, pay direct all other (local) taxes/fees where applicable (including any required out of state sales or use tax on order purchases).

WARRANTY/GUARANTEES
We’re not 100% enthusiastic about your purchase until you are. We know if we don’t take care of you someone else will. At any time, let us know what we need to do to earn your confidence and loyalty. Please consider your purchase a safe one for you and allow us to exceed your expectations of what an outdoor store can be. Returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranties will be handled cheerfully and quickly. Defective products will be repaired or replaced at manufacturers discretion under the terms specified by factory warranty or guarantee whichever may be the case. Please inspect condition of your purchase at time of delivery. Report all damage claims to carrier driver for processing.
* Kayaks, canoes and car racks/accessories can not be returned for refund once they have left our premises.

SAFETY
The use/inspection of outdoor products should always be supervised by responsible adults; no product fitness for any particular use is expressed or implied. Customer/user assumes all liability for personal or property mishap during use/inspection of any Great Miami Outfitters sales product.

Outdoor sporting activities can be dangerous…. proper training in the use and care of outdoor equipment, by certified sources, is strongly advised. Always wear a certified life jacket or vest while engaging in water sports.
