Do you want to try before you buy? Or do you want your friend to experience the great outdoors with you but they lack the equipment? Now you can rent your equipment from Great Miami Outfitters. We offer daily, weekend and weekly rentals.
We update our rental equipment often so that you are assured of the best quality equipment. However, there is always the possibility of equipment failure in the backcountry. We advise that you test/set-up your equipment prior to your trip. Visit our store for complete information.

We have a large selection of boats available to rent for the day, weekend (3 days) or for an entire week. It's a great way to have fun while you "try before you buy." Boat rental includes a paddle and PFD.
Paddling Accessories
Spray Skirt
Stay dry and comfortable on inland waterway tours and lake paddling trips with this lightweight and functional spray skirt. Available in limited sizes of 2.2 and 2.5.
Kayak Helmet
A helmet designed with the 'Superior Retention System' and the multiple and removable shims, this helmet feels secure in place. All shims are included so one size and some adjustments will fit most.
Foam Block Carrier
These foam block carriers are designed for a secure way to carry a kayak or canoe on your car top. Rental set includes foam blocks, include straps, hooks and tie downs.

Our 1-person tent is a three season, freestanding tent, with a stay-dry entrance, and large vestibule for gear storage and food prep (shown without rain fly). Rental tent includes tent body, rain fly, footprint, poles and stakes. Option to be set up as fast fly.
2 Person Tent
Our 2-person tents are three season freestanding. Choose either 2 doors or one large D-shaped door (shown without rain fly). Rental tent includes tent body, rain fly, footprint, poles and stakes.
3 Person Tent
This 3-person tent is a three season freestanding tent, with one large D-shaped door (shown without rain fly). Rental tent includes tent body, rain fly, footprint, poles and stakes. Option to be set up as fast fly.

Our rental backpacks are available in various volume sizes and carrying load capacities. We can help you choose the right one depending on the length of your trip and what you plan to pack. All packs have adjustable torso sizes. We also offer a women-specific model.
Camp Stoves
Canister Stove
When it comes to canister-mounted stoves, less is more. The advantages include not only is it lightweight, but it's easy to use with no-mess fuel canisters. No need for priming, pressurizing or maintenance. Not as efficient in cold temperatures or high altitudes.
White Gas Stove
This popular stove features a self-cleaning shaker jet to reduce soot build-up and stove maintenance. This backpacking stove is well-known for its reliability and simple design. Made to last with durable stainless steel and brass. Burns cleanly on White Gas and white gas varieties.
Multi-Fuel Stove
This multi-fuel stove has an adjustable flame. Dual-valve design offers an a range of flame control – simmer to boil with a twist of the flame adjuster. Three wide pot supports hold larger pots or fry pans. Burns white gas, kerosene, unleaded auto fuel, diesel, and jet fuel.
Sleeping Pad & Chair Kit
20" Camp Chair Kit
Convert a sleeping pad into a camp chair with the Chair Kit. Fits 20” wide pads. Chair kits can be used with a 72” or 78” long pad. Made of durable, 150 denier polyester with fiberglass stays. Comes with a mesh stuff sack.

High density, solid foam core provides greater cushion, insulation and comfort. EZ-FlateTM Valve simply twist black part of valve counter-clockwise to open, blow, hold gray portion of valve in mouth while spinning black portion clockwise to close.
